This is one of the biggest lies Romney will tell about capitalism, government, and business. Business does not close plants because they lose money. Business closes plants when they choose to close that plant because it makes more business sense to not operate that specific plant. That does not mean it’s LOSING money. That means the business chooses to close that plant and destroy that community. 

Romney said it himself:

And as the president of the company he decided to close the factory in Michigan and move all the production to Wisconsin.

He DECIDED to do it. The free market didn’t dictate it. His dad DECIDED to ruin that community.
